Shower glass, coatings and hardware finishes

Glass types

The glass is the biggest part of a shower door, so the type you pick changes how the whole shower looks. We offer four kinds.

• Frosted glass has a soft, cloudy surface. It lets light through and blurs what is behind it, so it gives privacy.
• Textured glass has a pattern on the surface. The pattern scatters the view through the glass.
• Tinted glass has color in it, so the glass looks darker or takes on a shade.
• Extra clear glass looks clearer than standard glass. Standard glass has a slight green cast that you can see at the edges, and extra clear glass reduces it.

You do not have to frost the whole door. You can tell us what you have in mind, and we will talk through the options with you.

Easy clean coating

We offer an easy clean, water repellent coating for shower glass. The coating goes on the glass itself. Tell us you want it when you ask for a quote, and we will include it.

Hardware finishes

Hardware means the hinges, handles, clips and other metal parts on your door. You can choose from five finishes:

• Chrome, a bright, shiny silver.
• Brushed nickel, a softer silver with a brushed look.
• Matte black, a flat black.
• Oil rubbed bronze, a dark bronze color.
• Satin brass, a soft gold color.
