Corner and neo-angle shower enclosures in Akron

Glass that wraps a corner shower, with a door and fixed panels, from our Akron shop.

North Hill Glass and Mirror makes corner and neo-angle shower enclosures from our shop in Akron. Each one is a door with fixed glass panels, built to fit a shower that sits in a corner. Call (330) 535-1558 with your layout, or send it with the quote form.

What a corner or neo-angle enclosure is

A corner enclosure fits a shower that sits in the corner of a room. Glass closes the two open sides. One side usually holds the door, and the other can be a fixed panel that does not open. The glass meets at a right angle, like the corner it fits into.

A neo-angle enclosure handles the corner another way. Instead of two sides that meet at a right angle, it has an angled section of glass that cuts across the corner. Your shower ends up with more faces of glass, and the door often sits in the angled section.

Fixed glass panels and return panels make these layouts work. A fixed panel stays put. A return panel turns back at an angle to close an edge. We offer both.

A corner layout suits a shower built into a corner. If your shower is a straight opening along one wall, our frameless shower doors or swing, hinged and pivot doors may be a better match.

What to have ready when you call

A corner job has more measurements than a straight opening. Please gather what you can.

  • Which layout you want: a corner with a door and a fixed panel, or a neo-angle with an angled section.
  • The width of each side of the corner, measured where the glass will stand. Check each one at the top, middle and bottom.
  • The height on each side.
  • Where you want the door, and its hinge side and swing direction.
  • Whether the glass should stop below the ceiling or reach it.
  • The glass you want and the hardware finish.
  • Photos of the corner from two angles, with the shower base in view.
